This is for you if…

You are looking for support during pregnancy

Having a pelvic health physical therapist on your team during pregnancy can help you feel confident as you prepare for delivery, recover postpartum, and navigate all of the changes along the way. Working with a pelvic health PT during pregnancy can help you to stay active and strong throughout your pregnancy, reduce pain, and to prepare for labor and delivery.

You are looking for support postpartum

Individuals can schedule a visit as early as 1-week postpartum to discuss early postpartum rehabilitation, feeding positions, healthy bowel and bladder habits, lifting mechanics and pressure management strategies. Once postpartum, always postpartum. Pregnancy and childbirth can have significant impacts on our pelvic health, including pain, incontinence, as well as discomfort during sex or exercise. A pelvic health PT can help you address any of these acute or chronic issues relating to pregnancy and childbirth so that you can feel confident in your recovery and return to movement that you love!

You are experiencing pelvic pain

A wide variety of pain conditions can be addressed with pelvic floor PT including: endometriosis, vulvodynia, vestibulodynia, vaginismus, dyspareunia, IC/bladder pain syndrome, coccydynia (tailbone pain), post-operative pain or scar tissue restrictions associated with abdominal/hip/pelvic or lumbar surgeries as well as hip pain and low back pain. When addressing pain, we focus on tools and strategies for calming the nervous system, stress management, sleep, nutrition, pacing, and movement. We focus on an active approach to therapy as well as the importance of mental health and stress management.
