Supervision & Consultation

Kayla Estenson Williams offers supervision for pre-licensed therapists on their LMFT or LPCC track in Minnesota as well as consultation for licensed therapists looking to grow in their practice.

A bit about me and my professional work

Hi, I’m Kayla! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (license number 3852), LMFT and LPCC board approved supervisor, Perinatal Mental Health Certified therapist, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have been in the therapy field since 2015, and started my private practice, Minnesota Attachment Collective, in 2019.

I specialize in attachment trauma, fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood. I am passionate about supporting folks heal attachment wounds and connect to their authentic selves as they navigate different seasons of life.

As a therapist, I believe we do our best work when we create a career that truly supports us. In our society, those in the helping fields are too often taken advantage of. I believe that we do extremely important work! And to do so in the long term, we need to take care of ourselves. I love supporting therapists entering the field as well as those who have been in the field for a while and are looking to make adjustments so that they enjoy their profession more.

Supervision for Pre-licensed Providers

I am a board-approved supervisor for both LMFT and LPCC tracks in Minnesota. I offer individual, dyad, as well as group supervision. My supervision has a heavy emphasis on self-of-the-therapist work, as I believe when we work on our own stuff that may show up in relation therapy we can then do the best work for our clients. This work can include working through our own counter-transference, imposter syndrome, identifying our niche, and creating a work-life balance that supports us. Supervision with me will also include case consultation as well as professional development- so that you can grow with confidence in your career.

Individual Supervision

  • Individual Supervision (50 minutes): $160

    • For those working with me at a consistent frequency, this rate includes brief questions/check-ins in between supervision sessions as needed

    • For dyads, the rate is $80 per person per hour

Group Supervision

  • Monthly virtual Supervision Group beginning 4/2/25 held the first Wednesday of each month from 2:15 - 4 pm

    • This group is a cohort model of up to 6 supervisees

  • Cost: $100 for the two hour group ($50/hour/person)

Consultation for Licensed Providers

I offer consultation for licensed providers looking to grow in their careers and create a work life balance that is sustainable for them.

Some common themes that I work with in professional consultation:

  • identifying and growing into your niche so that you have a client base that you enjoy and feel energized by the important work that you do

  • self-of-the-therapist work: working through the things that show up in relation to your work (whether it be counter-transference or imposter syndrome) so that you can feel more confident and effective in supporting your clients

  • setting up a schedule for both client work and administrative work so that you are working at a pacing that is sustainable for you

  • the early phases of entering private practice, such as how to develop a website, how to enter into a cash-based practice, what pacing to begin your practice at, how to register your business, and how to build a sense of community in solo private practice. Professional Consultation

  • Professional Consultation (50 minutes): $190

  • After our meeting, I will send you a detailed action plan including any resources that might be helpful. You will also have two weeks of access to me with brief follow-up questions via email.
